However that aside, if you get hold of another exhaust cam and use it as an inlet cam, subject to revised timing marks, its an improvement over the standard cam. In fact its benefits are the same as the CA16/18DE inlet cam which is pretty favourable.

I took the cams out of the sunny the other week, and will use it (one day) when I go for a DET, and I then also noticed you could use the exhaust cam as well. You'd have to work out how to time it or use verniers ideally.

So you don't have to hunt for the rare CA16 cam, just have 2 exhaust cams instead :)

So, when are you slapping a DET in yourself? - go on, you know you wanna... :p

I can use a DET head on my existing engine as I'm already using the DET block.

Yes i heard about this on sxoc.I cant be bothered to tune my det anymore.

The whole car is a big enough money pit as it is.

Lol! - I've felt that way for years...

...But then again, she's so sexy, how can I stay mad at her for long? :p

Richard K. came down with those spacers last night, and we went for a wee blast - he likes my DET at least! :p -

Jey-sus!! - it's quick since Simon fettled it, and you and Shaun sorted my clutch out mate!... :D (and the clutch fluid level's dropped - has started slipping again - need that slave cylinder or a stripdown of the fluid system soon methinks!)
