Gauge problem and fix
 

Hi,

Just thought I'd let everyone know I fixed the problem with my S12 with the gauges not working and electric playing up.

I traced it back to the black connector box by the battery and the left plug, marked battery.alt had a badly corroded wire. I replace this and everything is now spot on.

Though I'd post this if anyone else is having probs as I thought it was my alternator in the first instance.
