My car lives on
I changed the ecu harness today and after several attempts and getting the timing correct its up and runnign sweet as
Turns out a single wire( black and white ) Had corroded and broken off on the multiplug near the coil. i will post a picture up soon as so people know in future what to check for incase this problem pops up again in anycase.
Now to start planning a date for my 55k engine to be inserted haha
