the shafts come out if you wedge summet inbetween the diff and the shaft. then tap it, but it would be a cnut to put them back in once its back in place, you only have to drop it sideways away from the exhaust, it is a bit of a lump to feck about with on ya back under the car, i used the jack and the one of my daughters to hold it in place as i jacked it up, as long as it din't drop on me it was ok lol,
