Purchased (and waiting to arrive) a vag-com compatible cable from ebay so I can read/clear the fault codes for the VW Golf, as I believe it's in 'limp home' mode for some bizarre reason. If that's the case, means I can flog the clio asap and get the golf mot'd and flogged also
(or drive for a while I suppose, but hopefully get an S12
