I've swapped out a stock fuel pump before and this is what I remember if it helps any. The O ring is of a cylinder shape. I guess the best way to describe it is an air tube that one has on the water. It fits into a nice little circular groove. Problem is when I did mine, it was 'too' big and immediately seemed impossible to get back into place. I had to put it together using a flat head screw driver to push it into place inside the groove hoping that I wouldnt disrupt the circle on another side. So as far as I'm aware, best idea is to measure the diameter of the groove that is under the top plate of the fuel pump assembly.
