I need to be certain as to what you require. I guess we are fitting the vernier pulley. But to be honest this isnt worthwhile unless you have a piper cam. So would you change the cam as well?
I would need to check what tool I have to get to the back of the cam as there isn't much space behind the head.
Anyway I would have to remove the cam which would require the removal of the bottom pulley and covers to change the belt. This would need the intercooler/rad to be removed as its likely to be in the way. Its not on my setup but may be on yours. I would need to reinstall the rockers shafts and reset the clearances when cold and then when hot as well ideally.
Timing the engine up can take a while, at best an hour. Its a bit fiddly to setup and its hard to turn the engine over accurately by hand. I think it took 2 hours to do Adams engine but that was with turning the bottom pulley with my hands and spark plugs still in.
At all you're looking at 4 hours really.
