Thought i would share it with you lol.
I blame it on viper Performance for taking 8 weeks to make me up a bit of custom silicon hose when they said it would take 10-12 days. Ive been driving the car with a split boost hose to work and back all this time.It was siliconed up with repair gel but even the slightest on boost leak would of killed the turbo from over spooling to compensate.95% of the time i have kept it off boost. It smokes once or twice every few days when its warm and the turbo stops spooling on idle. Im going to have to hope it holds up until i have time to change it.The hose should arrive next week.If i havnt sorted it for Mod nationals i will have to take it very easy around the track and enjoy the scenery 
I am just going to buy an exchange t3 from turbo technics as i cant be arsed with second hand units anymore or the risk of buying a poorly made rebuild kit. |
feckin hell mate, turbo technics will charge you more for a recon than i payed for my brand new one,
my t34 was only £575 with the flange to make it into a external wastegate.
