Basically it's easy to put S13, S14 or S15 front coilovers in the front of an S12.
The camber tops that almost all jap coilovers come with bolt straight into the S12 body and if you use S13 gear you can drop the S13 hub/spindle straight onto the S12 ball joint to join it all together. You will need to swap to S13 tie rods as well, they may have to be threaded slightly longer and perhaps have 5mm cut off them to fit with the S12 control arms (shorter then S13).
Alternatively you can use S13 control arms as well (25mm or so longer then S12) then you shouldn't have to touch the S13 tie rods however you will need to use an R31 castor rod or redrill the arm to suit the S12 rods (which i don't recommend due to the holes being so close together after you do that).
Or if you want to go even wider you can use S14/15 control arms, tie rods and coilovers. The S14/15 arms are an additional 25mm wider then the S13 ones so your track is starting to look pretty mean by now. The S14 coilover and hub/knuckle bolt together with larger bolts then the S13 ones but you can make S13 coilovers fit S14/15 hub/knuckles by drilling the holes in the coilover out or alternatively by making a sleave for the hub/knuckle part to take the smaller bolts the S13 coilovers use.
Brake options are whatever fits an S13/14/15 so CA brakes, SR brakes, 4 pots or GTR brembos etc.
That's about it really, oh yeah S14/15 front coilovers are apparently slightly taller then S13 ones and suit the S12 better, S13 ones often have to be wound up quite high which might be a bit of a problem if they only have preload adjustment and not true height adjustment.
