Default s13 gearbox internals??

hey does anyone know if the s13 gearbox internals fit inside the s12 bell housin??

I should imagine they would fall out the whole where the clutch release bearing arm goes.

They may fit better inside the gearbox itself

rite just coz i found out that the s14 internals fit in the s13 bell housin so if the s13 internals fitted in the s12 bell houin then maybe s14 internals inside s12 bell housin and resultin a lot better gear box... lol

you will not get the s14 clutch to fit the s12, its to big, i know, i got one supplied for the s14 by mistake, the s14 thrush bearing fits better than the s13 one though.

You could just use the complete s14 gearbox. the shifter is 2 1/2 inches further to the rear of the car so you would have to adapt your geargater slightly though. Then get the propshaft shortened.

JAPSTER uses an s14 gearbox. Or call Norris designs as they did his for him.

yea think he must be , was just thinkin of seeing if there was anything i could do to improve the box since in wreaked the old one and have to rebulid it......

I find my mk1 gearbox great.Shauns is holding out well too etc. USE redline heavy duty gearoil. She will love it. i just think you have been unlucky.

o rite cool will just crack it open and fix the knackered bits, you wouldnt happen to know where i could get a 280z short shifter from.. cant seem to find them forsale anywhere????
