prob best bet would be to get your local bodyshop a call and see if they can repair them as even if nissan said they could get them they would prob go on back order from japan and there is no guarantee if and when they will come.....

i'll be doing so, i'm going to my local panel place tomorrow & they are a friendly bunch so i'll check various sills from different manufacter's to see what the best match is! if i get a decent wnough match i'll post up what sill i've used!!

its odd as its the only rust on my car! so thats the 1st job on the list is sorting the sills, then tow-bar hopefully

dont worry i'm not towing other cars with it or anything lol

a little look around ebay, fiesta mk3 sills look a similar shape, dunno if they are bigger though.

would be good to know if something else fits.

sunny ZX coupe ones would prolly be a close match as thats what we get skirts off of, with little modifications.

but also prolly just as hard to get hold of.

Your best just to fabricate repair patches to sort out any rust. Trying to replace a whole sill is not a task to be taken lightly.

I have some new ones for the 910, but I don't think I'd ever attempt at replacing them.

update, chaps, right went for a search on sill today & if you can get both sides left & right the hilman imp sill is very very close, it need a lil bit adding to the length but the profile is about as close as you can get!!!!

i've actually bought 2 nissan micra sills, need a lil legth adding but not alot, they also need to be bent over a scaffold bar to made the curve od the sill match but thats about it, i should be able to cut & fit 2 sills in a weekend!!!!

i just need some ok-ish weather outdoors to do it as my garage is full of junk!

i'll do some pics when i do it!!!!

as i say hilman imp ones are a better match than micra ones but they only had one in & i want to do both sides so they are done & dusted!

my car has developed a strange misfire @ 2200rpm & its boosting alot & using lots of fuel!!!!
