Ok, I fitted a new s13 Luk clutch kit like 8 months ago, gearbox oil level is ok, small leaks on upper area because the lever boot is cracked.
In this video you can heard when clutch pedal is released and when i push and maintain it (less sound): http://video.google.fr/videoplay?doc...65822811&hl=fr Must i refill more oil in it for less sound? Any advice? Cheers. |

Sounds like a release bearing to me. Was it changed with the Clutch plate and Cover?

I've not listened to it, but...
If it makes less noise gradually when the clutch is depressed its the input shaft bearing. Sometimes this is from not having a spigot bearing in the crank, or purely just from age and wear. I'd not worry about it to be honest. As for the oil level, you should fill it until the level is up to the filling hole.

By failure i mean perhaps a "leak" or failure in crank to gear area, like a circlip... still explore it on FSM.
I fitted a new bearing but in their any sens to fit it it? According to my memories, nope. |
