Default meets/shows/events

is this club ever going to attend anymore of the above, at the moment imho
it seems to be a shambles,i din't go last year as i've been spending every penny on this project, mostly because i've been dedicated to the s12 for about the last 12 years and i thought it would be good to have the fj20 drag car on show for the club, where other than the s12 stand could i put it apart from the breakers yard lol.can we get our fuckin arses in gear and actually get this club back together ?.

Shaun I am trying to get mine back together. Unfortunately the guy who was putting it back together has sold his business and it turns out he hasn't touched my car.

Hopefully a certain someone on this site will be taking the project on and finishing her thoroughly and properly. Out of you, silviagod, doski, 30psi and pukka I don't think I would give it to anyone else. I will hopefully know for sure sometime this week.

PS whats happened to Den and his monster horsepower silvia?

talkin of den (japster) he has been in touch over the last few days and he is sorting his exploded clutch out, i din't reolise that its over 18 months since i've seen him, time goes to fast, i miss the guy he's a top bloke and one of my insperations as well as bob jones and the silviagod, i know doski is dedicated, we need him over for the shows and duncan is surely dedicated as he travels over from ireland, we have some top blokes on here, but we need to all get it together at the same time, i suppose its like ogasaming the same time as your partner lol.probly like waiting for a lunar eclipse.,anyhoo wots left to do on your beast matey?.

bit of a tough one at the moment, sure you appreciate the unpleasant financial situation within the club . What shows would you like to go to?

JAE looks like a shambles this year.

Japfest 16th may - Too late to organise a stand I think, maybe a gathering of people would be possible though?

Japshow and japshow finale (santapod) I'd like to see if these are something we could get a stand for.

I dont have a working s12 myself currently, but i'm building a CA18ET powered kitcar which once finished I'd like to take to club events

Hiya guys... Yep... been a busy old 18 months for me, and pretty depressing to be honest.

BUT, I now have the funds to get the old girl back on the road, and have just ordered an "Iron Man" clutch, capable of transmitting 600hp (apparently)... should be better than that P.O.S. Exedy I was running, but hey...

Thanks for the kind comments guys - Yep, had a few issues at home, work, financial, etc, so been off the radar for a while, but this weekend will hopefully be firing the old girl up after some preventative maintenance, just in case any sh*ts got into the engine, of seized etc...

fingers crossed, but yep, would be fantastic to all catch up again, and one of my first stops is going to be Avon Raceway, for a bit of a try-out, once I've bedded the new clutch in (Assuming all goes well - don't count your chicken, an' all that... )

Take care guys, and yep - Shaun? - Gripo? - SG? - Be down for a cuppa at your respective manors as soon as I can put miles on the clutch! - DAMN good excuse actually...
