Default Track / Tie rods S12/S13/S14

Hello, I've just put together my S12/S13 hybrid suspension, but have masses of tow out I don't have the adjustment to dial out

Anyone have a healthly knowledge on track rod lengths, ie are S14 ones the same as S13 or longer.

I have got S13 inner and outers on at the mo.

Can't use S13 inners and S12 outers as the they are way too big then.

This for the 910 with standard wishbones?

Were they S14 ones?

Pretty certain they will fit into the rack.

Going to look into using S12 outers and S13 inners (with extra thread cut and cut down, sods law says I'll need thread where the flats are.

S12 outers and S13 inners will be very long.

Yeah I used S13/4 ones from tein which I believe are the same as R33 GTR. They're thicker and stronger. They needed shortening by about an inch

Seems any combination of S13 or S14 will do but will have to be trimmed depending on which S-body lower-arm you're using. S12 shortest, S15 longest.
If you're car is strictly for competition a longer lower-arm for negative camber plus toe-out may well be beneficial, giving sharp turn-in and varying degrees of oversteer, depending on how you want it to behave. If you could find a way to reduce rear negative camber that would help too.
It'll work the front tyres hard though.

Personally, I fancy S13 lower arms, with S14 lower balljoint, whichever steering arm set-up, S14 hubs (for the brakes) and S14 coilovers and a full Z31 rear set-up.
I don't want too much front neg. camber initially. I work in the trade so swapping the arms again in the future would be no big deal.

edit: full thread Here.

I dialed most of the tow out, but was alarmed byt the amount of play from inner to outer rods, kept adjusting them and got the wheels straight or there abouts.
Will have them off and see just how much thread is left, but it was good enough to get it on the trailer. S14 rods are my back up.

I'm running reinforced S13 lower arms with S12 hubs and struts, S13 inner and outer track rods, it just kind of evolved that way!

15/16mm of thread engagement just for reference, not sure I'm happy with that.
