Play in rear wheel bearings

Hello all, I'm getting my car Mot's next week and I found a little play in the rear wheel bearings when i rocked the road wheels. Does anyone know if this is acceptable or do I need new bearings....looks like a big job

. I didn't hear any bearing noise out on the road.Thanks
