Default T25 Do I Need These?

just picked up a sweet T25 do I need these also? and are these the best price/quality, or is there a better source.

As long as you get steel gaskets and not made of putty ebay ones then you will be fine.

How stupid is this!!!!!!!!!!

Rang Nissan in Doncaster the parts guy wanted a registration or chassis number to be able to quote on parts, told him it was for an S12 application and he stated "without a registration or chassis number I cannot get into the system".

Couldn't take my registration or chassis number as it would have taken him to the wrong parts screen.

Rang a Dealer in Sheffield, who gave me the part numbers and a price straight away, he also stated he has a guy who comes in with a white D plate S12 which was his fathers and has been in storage for 8yrs I bet there are a few like this tucked away somewhere.

Nissan Part No: 1441517M00 £9.39+vat

Turbo to Elbow Gasket:

Nissan Part No: 1444526E00 £20.41+vat

Had various quotes from the dealers on SXOC

Turbodynamics: £15 for the pair

Japspeed £15 delivered the pair
.................................................. ...........
Apex Performance Parts Turbo- manifold -£36.73
Turbo - turbo elbow - £35.65

what elbow are you using??? s13 or s12??

if you use the s12 one you have to make sure you have the right studs in the turbo, because one stud is in the wrong place and will stop the elbow going on, another stud just isnt used, you use just 3 of the 5, if you use the s13 elbow you may need to cut a lug off the gearbox.

if you use the s12 elbow, you can use the s12 turbo to elbow gasket as i have just fitted mine with all s12 exhaust gaskets.

when you phone nissan, just tell them to put s12 or s13 in the box marked "model series" you can also put year if you know it mmyy.

i have NISSAN FAST installed on my pc so i look up the part numbers before phoneing them, really is much easier.

Thanks umpkin, read all the posts on the T25 and they are quite vague with regards what elbow fits, studs being different, use 3 of the 5 etc.

I'm fitting it with the S12 elbow unless there is a massive power difference in fitting the S13 or an aftermarket one (cutting the lug off the gearbox is not a problem if its needed)

Great tip on the NISSAN FAST Software

IMO the s12 elbow is less restrictive than the s13 one so better to use that. only ever use genuine gaskets. and it's bullshit about the parts system, all they need to know is the chassis designation (RS12/RS13) and engine code CA18T/DT
