Default steering lock

after drifting a few of my mates s13's at my last practice day it became apparent that they have a lot more steering lock as standard.......well they might not have that much more, but it does make a big difference, as they can catch drifts where i would spin, so ive fitted some spacers/washers to my steering rack to give me a bit more lock. the wheels can now rub on the inside of the arch at full lock, so i will probably take a hammer to them soon to stop the rubbing
heres a before and after pic

and theres the spacer

havent had a chance to properly 'test' it yet, but i'm sure it will be a big help. just a few jobs left to do now to get her competative

I only just noticed this thread. Yours is a manual rack isnt it? Just wondering how much thread you were left with.

I've seen this done before, never really drifted enough to bother fitting them.

As most struggle to understand whats happening, I have highlighted the spacer
