orderd my coilovers from rally design yesterday and got them this morning

You're gonna have a problem there mate. The thread tubes aren't long enough.

ie, you won't be able to lower it enough.

You will have to make sure you weld the tube on lower down on the strut

thats the only ones they had, they are 6 inch and the springs are 9 inch, what where the lengths of yours again ?

I think the threaded tubes are 9"

Best just to put the tube a bit lower on the strut.

Won't be a problem though

ok martin, but i've just measured the standard springs and they are 9 inch as well, if the threaded tubes are welded onto the very top, they still go 4 inch past where the standard spring sits.

Yeh but bear in mind that the new springs are stiffer and won't compress as much.

You might be ok, but just be careful.

It won't harm you to do put the tubes lower down, you'd never use the top bit anyway

£160 with vat and postage for the teins, £100 for both coilover kits and i've put new kyb's in
