Default External wastegates & screamer setups

Im thinking of using an external wastegate and possibly a screamer, or at least a separate dump pipe that rejoins the downpipe a long way down the exh and would like pics of your setups, tips, help, thoughts and all round general hints. i know Pukka and s13Eater have done this mod
Cheers guys.

you need the screamer flange onto the collector, or if theres no room to get the wastegate in there, then a pipe into the collector, then put the flange in a seperate place.

i just use the wastegate straight onto the manifold collector and dont use a screamer pipe. The external wastegate just dumps to atmosphere. I wouldnt ever go back to a normal internal wastegate again.

yeah that looks do-able on my setup so long as the ext wastegates arent too big. Either of ya got pics of the wastegates fitted too? Wheres best to get one from? Not looking to run big boost 16-18psi, but like the idea of the extra response. i suppose i could run a pipe off the wastegate back to the down pipe if open was too loud for the scrutineers.....

i dont think scrutineers would have any problems with it as long as its not going to cause a fire hazard. They shouldnt hear it as it will only make noise when under load on the track And compared to most race systems will be way under db limits

i dont have my car here so i cant measure the wategates length but shaun should be able too

car runs 99dB static noise test, so ok as most circuits are 102dB and most hillclimbs are 105dB. more worried about places like castle combe that also enforce an on circuit drive by test, just my luck to fail that! Worth trying first tho i guess.
Any advice on wastegate type, make, size etc?
