Default Hello From Sunny Scotia.

Hi All,

I'm New!!

I have owned one of these excellent cars for some time now, I rescued her from the Scrapyard in Ayrshire sometime in 99. She had 125,000 on the clock and a blown engine, no wheels and a smashed nearside widow to boot - Lovely. She now has covered 230.000 miles and has been all over the Netherlands when I lived and worked there, added to that, (she does the Kessell quicker than Solo's Falcon) only joking. What she really does, as I work in Portsmouth every alternate 4 days, is commute to and from Edinburgh and Portsmouth. Not bad for a nineteen year old eh?. I will post a wee piccy soon just to let you see. I love the site, so many congrats to all who participate and I look forward to making some contribution in the near future.

All the best,

John

Hi John,

Welcome .

That`s a testament to the reliability of our cars that the mileage is so high and she`s still coping with such a long commute .

Regards,
Ian.

If the ol' girl can manage an 18 parsec run in less than 11.5 with over 230K on the clock then that's got to be the best S12 on the site!!!

Welcome to the club

Default The Piccies!

Hi Chaps,

It's been a wee while but I'm back from work and have managed to take a few snaps for the interested parties. I would like to say a very big thanks to all who replied to my original post welcoming me to the club.

My Hearty thanks.

The royal we, That includes my good lady indoors are off up to Sutherland in the highlands for a week of peace and tranquility so I'm doing the servicing of the Millenium Falcon Beater.

I now have uploaded the pictures, or so I think. Let me know if you can't see them and I'll try again.

That's all for now folks.
