Anyone know if the diff from a 1994 s13 will fit in a 1988 s12?
There's one on fleabay at the mo...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-2-way-L...QQcmdZViewItem but I don't know what will be involved in making it fit?

part numbers are....A5940325A
38311 40F00

If thats any help?

Numbers supplied by the seller, presumably cast into the housing.

I think some Nismo diffs come with matched output shafts if that's the case then you probably won't be able to use it unless you shorten one of the driveshafts.

Where did you get the part numbers from?

EDIT - Infact, looking at it is that from an PS13? Or maybe an S14? The ouptshaft flanges look a little different to the ones I used. They look like 5 bolt and the ones I had we 6 (two bolt holes per tab on three tabs). The back plate also looks a little different.

EDIT EDIT - I think the toe tag on it also says RPS13...... I'll shut up now
