im gonna make a replacement oil feed for my mk1 engine, i have asked this before, but was never really cleared up, do these oil lines have a restrictor??
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Turbo-Oil-Feed...3286.m63.l1177 this kits shows a 1.5mm hole in the feed banjo bolt, is this right?? or do i not need to worry about this on the long mk1 pipe??? i really need to clear this up, as i dont want to spend a load of money on a refubed turbo, and then over oil it etc. or give me a number of someone that may be able to help. Cheers guys.

I would give Turbo Technics a ring, they have been very helpful to me when I have telephoned them.

Hi,
I had one made up for my MK1 with no restrictor in it and had no problems. I took the old ends to Pirtek and they made me up a line for about £20. The small holes in the banjo bolt will reduce the flow of oil so you won't over pressurize the turbo. Cheers Simon |

i wont be using the banjo joints, as mine has screw ends both ends, i just used that as an example.
