Default Boot Lid Repair

'Ave got a spare bootlid after I wasn't happy with the fibreglass OEM replica spoiler that's on my current lid but I've yet to find anybody who's displayed any enthusiasim to repair the "damage" from the factory fit spoiler. I've seen a few non-spoiler cars so I presume either some were never spoilered (spoiled ?) or they can be repaired when de-spoiler'd. Any thoughts anybody ?
