oh well, got the fueling to a reasonable state, and now has big end knocking.......................... the joys of owning an s12, lol

need another engine, pref mk2 one with the revised oil feed, any spare engine local to essex would be really appriciated, im very short on money atm, but i dont want to scrap the old girl.

Should be nice and easy to do, drop the sump/s and change the shells.

Aslong as the crank isn't scored you will get away with it.

P.s. you should be able to do it without taking the engine out!

yeah i know, I built the engine about 10 years ago, easy job, but really cba, reason i wanna change it is because its had oil pressure probs for a while, although hasnt phisically show any signs untill now, just an eratic gauge, but its also a mk1 engine, and id prefer a mk2 for the different turbo oil feed.

thankfully im not totally left without a car as i have my micra that was going on the road anyway as a second car for my long distant drive to see my kids, and the silvia was coming off the road for some much needed tlc, now it need tlc and an engine, lol.
