How quick is it being so light? Who built the car?

I would try to get a chargecooler in there to allow you to run a bit more boost.

How are you going about mapping the megasquirt? Did you solve your fueling issue?

500kg is very light. I want a go in that lol

Where do you plan to get it mapped?

Back a few years ago I looked at Megasquirt, but unfortunately found the info on the internet all over the place and hard to follow. In addition my local rollers weren't interested in trying to map a system like that, probably because they don't like working on systems they don't know.

That looks like it'll be a scream! - Lovely job too - only 500kg's? - Can't wait to hear what it'll do 0-60 in!..

so, what are you hoping for, and in relation, the Ford-based boys running, power-wise mate?

Default Fab to drive

Nice job there mate, not being cheeky what was the kit like cost wise, how much work was in from the the floor up.

Thats going to go well with a bit of a tweak i reckon, i agree with martin on the chargecooler idea not have to worry about soace at the front either.

the kit cost me £3k (www.mksportscars.co.uk) and maybe another £1.5k for other bits the engine i got for £100, £600 for a hybrid turbo

i suppose its cost me £5500 to build and get it registerd on the road as a Q plate

just got to start a few tweeks now so i'll have to have a read of the tech bit on here

0-60 should be around the 4 to 5second mark, as i've used a lsd so i should be able to get the power down ok

the ford lads run mainly pintos so around the 12 to 140 bhp mark some use zetecs so around the 150 bhp mark

dont really know what i'll get out of the nissan to be honest
