Hi Chaps!
Hello everyone, I've just bought my self an E reg silvia in quite bad shape.
It's a non-runner and almost every panel has some rust, so I think I will be posting quite a few "help me please!" questions soon. I'm hoping to do a full restoration on her, keeping as original as possible externaly, with a little more power and reliability under the bonnet. Anyway chaps, thanks very much and I hope to have a good chat with you all soon! *ps* I will try to get some pictures of her soon, at the moment she is wedged in the garage pretty tight! |

Hello to the newbies and welcome.
You'll find all of the info and help from some of the lads that have been there before on this forum. It's great to have some new members and to know that another couple of s12's will have a good home. Have a look at s13eaters project thread to see what can be done if you are clinically insane |

Cheers Irish! Yeah I've had a gander at s13eaters project, and to say its a beast is a bit of an understatment, im not going for anything that crazy, just a daily runner that will worry a few people.
Im in Cornwall Lammy, Newquay to be exact. Its a CA18ET. My ideas thus far once I hopefully get it actually running, are: An intercooler to get the intake temperature down as much as i can. Fuel pump replacement to stop it from ever running lean, and just a general eye on things to make sure nothing comes up really. In an ideal world 160-180 horses seems realistic, but I don't want to count my chickens. |
