Default Actuator Problem

The actutor arm had come off on my Silvia so I put it back on and now the O/E boost gauge goes off the scale and the inlet pipe from the turbo to the manifold pops off. The actuator arm is threaded so I presume it's adjustable, it posible that by adjusting this I can cure the problem? If so which way do I move the nut toward or away from the turbo?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dont know what you mean with the nut but you need to shorten the arm for higher boost and lengthen it to reduce the boost

The nut is there to lock it off once you have adjusted it to stop it moving and coming loose. So yeah adjust the arm until you have your wanted boost back then lock the arm in place by doing the nut up.

I'm using a standard T2, the nut was a nylon locking nut and the nylon insert had parted company with the metal outer so it was just spinning and the arm was at it's shortest hence the inlet pipe blowing off. Ive replaced it with a new nut and I'm now in the process of adjusting the boost needs a bit more at the moment as it's only boosting about half way on the O/E boost gauge. But it will be a while before I play with it again as I took the car for a test drive and it's a tad warm at the moment, I'll be adjusting it a bit at a time so I don't suffer from the same problem again.
