engine smoke-turbo i think
another prob is i'm getting a little smoke from the motor a grey blue colour
symptems when generally drving around town & hard accelleration its fine with no smoke it just smokes a bit when i come to a set of traffic lights or on tickover when warm my suspisiton is the oil seals in the turbo are going/gone i've compression checked the motor & alls good, rolling roaded it & all fine just tickover smoke?

one else thing the same as me & irish s12
to be honest i dont mind if its the turbo as i'd upgrade to a t25/t28 anyone got any turbo recomendations? i still have a saab/volvo intercooler i need to put on so if i complement it with a nice turbo to match

if its happening when you lift off it could be turbo or valve stem seals. They are the cheapest to replace whilst the head is on, if its an ET that is. Is there any play in the turbo ?

it dont smoke when i lift of the throttle you can gun the car up or down the gears with no smoke!
it smokes just on tickover or on starup when its been run, my MOT man ha let me go on it for 2 years on the smoke test my emisions are fine though! lol i presume cause it only smokes on tickover or startup when the car is warm its just oil from the turbo getting burnt in the exhaust lewt me know ya thoughts
