Default Gasket Kit Needed

Hey guys,

I have a question. I need a full gasket Kit for my Nissan S12...

This are the specifications...

model: japanese
motor type: FJ20E050582
year: 1985
kw: 107 kw
cm: 1991

So I was looking for it online and found this at www.swmotorsport.com:

Nissan FJ20 ? Full Gasket Kit Price A$ 268,00

Previously I found FJ20, FJ20E and FJ20ET models and I am not sure which model I have. I guess it's a FJ20 or a FJ20E since FJ20ET sounds like a turbo, which I don't have.

I send a fax to those guys but since they are obviously not shipping to Europe (Austria) I might not get an answer.

So, does anybody have an idea, which model I have and where I could get cheap parts somewhere in Europe?

I appreciate your help a lot.

greetz,
Manuela
(yes I am girl)

from the model no fj20e I presume you have the normally aspirated fj20e engine but to make sure, post a picture of the engine showing the exhaust. Why do you need a gasket kit, are you doing a Rebuild ? I take you are in Sweden or somewhere similar. The only advice I can give you for the gasekts is either try
www.fj20.com or send an Email to my mate Lee from www.performanceparts.com.au who will help but hes in Australia but will ship parts

Thank you for your quick reply. So if I do have a FJ20E, parts for a FJ20 obviously will fit. At fj20.com it looks like FJ20 is just the sur-category, so a FJ20E should be a FJ20.

I have to do a rebuild, yes, cause the engine won't start anymore since there's always motor oil in the cylinder around the spark (or ignition?) plug and also smoke comes out of the exhaust like hell, it burns the oil.

Sorry, i am native german and all this technical words in english...

Me and my silvias live in Austria. But i will get in touch with the guys you mentioned. Thank you so much...

I will attach another picture. Unfortunately may car is 50 km away at the workshop

Fj20e is the non turbo model
Fj20et is the Turbo model
but I am lead to believe that most of the gaskets etc are the same anyways. Just so you know the Fj20 Silvia is becoming Very very rare now so keep hold of them. If you need a rebuild kit, send an Email to the link for Lee and he will sort you out. He will also take off the Tax as it will be exported. That engine in Australia went in the Nissan S12 Gazelle 2.0 Turbo 83/86

Thats gasket set is for the ca18et which is a different engine!. As for your pics I think its a Non turbo, you need to take one of the Exhaust side of the engine
