Default Search for our T2 turbomap pic

I'd like to see our turbomap of our Garrett turbo T2... and why not, to understand how read it.

Cheers.

to be honest, it would be a waste of time, why on earth anyone would want anything to do with a t2 is beyond me, thats the first thing to put in the bin.

depends on the power you want shaun, your monster needs soming massive, but if hes only looking for 160 - 180 BHP then the T2 is prolly ok for that, although i do agree, i have only bout 160BHP ish and im deffo looking for the T25 to go on as i want reliability in the turbo, and the T2 is under strain from the word go.

** slightly of topic ** but does anyone elses car when on boost make like a owl noise "whoooooooooooooooooooooo" its not a leak, i thinks its just the air rushing though the intake pipe before the turbo, just sounds strange and wondered if its a common noise. like i say its not a fault, more a turbo noise, its always done it, just wondered if its across the S12 range.

tbh, i was amazed at what an intercooler, filter, exhaust and boost upgrade did, back then the fastest cars i had where 1800 8 valve mk2 astra gte's and a 2.8 celica supra, so when i got the s12 and a few mods i thought it was the dogs, but it left me hungry for more power, so then i had the engine internals done and a t25, then t3, then t34, so if i'd have gone for a big tubby to start with i would have saved myself a lot of money, a standard engine will more than cope with a t28, or t3, ken finn has run a t3 for well over a year now and its his tubby thats packed in and the engine is still strong, he's now putting a t34 on, so what iam trying to say is it will feel quick for a while then you will want more, thats why i'am doing the fj20 turbo conversion,i think then it will get scary .

Take it easy

It's for learning how good is a T2.

Yes. 180HP for reliability is a good step (my clutch already slip with my factort boost ).

Do you have the garrett T2 map?
Cheers.
