Default Engine out

ok, i'm thinking of pulling my engine out in the next week or two, as i need to helicoil a exhaust manifold stud..... i'm also thinking of porting a inlet manifold to take a s13 throttle bodie and bolting that on. i'm gonna fit my t25 and hope it doesent smoke its ass off, and block the water lines to it. also i'll probably fit new belts, anyone think of anything else that might be worth doing while its out

It would be rude not to do the steering rack bushes, as they are alot easier to get to with the engine out.

i changed the clutch pressure plate few weeks ago for a s13 exedy one, but the clutch cover i got with it dident fit so ive still got the old cover on....
how much do you reckon the steering rack bushes would be?
as for cambelt.... ive not done one before, but i suppose it would probably be a good idea to do it

I think S13 bushes are £40, but don't MMR do them? I think one of the s13 bushes is different though.

As for the clutch cover, I'm surprised it didn't fit. This is what makes it better over the S12 clutch. The S13 clutch has a clamping force of 550kg opposed to the 450kg of the standard S12 one.

I would try to change it again when the engine is out

yes mmr do one of the steering rack bushes i think, but i'm not sure if it would fit, as there cars are LHD?
i only paid £30 for the clutch, so i think its got the wrong cover with it, as it doesent fit onto the locating dowels....i think i should be able to get hold of a used standard s13 clutch cover for free of someone tho, so i could fit that

the clutch you have isn't for a KA24 (240sx) s13 is it? if so you can make it fit with a bit of careful hole slotting
