Default engine temps

since my engine change, the temp guage hardly moves and the air isnt hot at all, luke warm is what u get after a little heavy right foot. any suggestions?

airlock, faulty thermostat, or both.

too true, is there a thermo in there, air lock maybe yeah?????


put a new thermo in anyway, pop off pipes to rad and start again mate...let engine run with antifreeze in with the cap off to see if air comes out

where is the thermostat????? ive let it run with cap off for about 10 mins squeezin pipes and little bubbles come out, but not much.

normally airlock makes it over heat, as the water dont circulate.

if i remember right, the thermostat is on the rad top hose housing in the inlet manifold, held on by 3 bolts.

i will look in service manual and post pic when found.
