Aftermarket parts for the S12

Okay, Randy and I are getting a contact to begin to start mass producing our suspension shit. Thing is, we need an idea of just how many people would be interested. To get an idea and all. I know it will be hard since there are no prices, but we need to see if there is serious enough interest from people who are willing to spend some money on parts.

steering knuckles
rack spacers
tc rods

rb subframe, same for both MK1 and MK2
rb tranny mount for MI1 and MK2, different ones are needed
downpipe for rb swap
crossover pipe for fmic for rb swap

If someone wants something made up, let us know. We can see if we have the parts to be made up and sent over to be mass produced.

PS: By the way, this thread has recieved 36 views on CS12, but not a single comment. Is there really a lack of wanting better parts made for the S12?

the ca18det engine is available for peanuts over here so Rb engine conversions dont tend to be done much

The idea and the the help you do is usefull, but it isn't on our current need.

You want to do something for our car? Make a LSD, suspensions, chassis and brake upgrade. You will help and sell for sure ALL s12 owners.

If you really want what s12 owner want, make a new thread again.

int there any interest in france with the s12, we have done slip diff for s12 over here, and coilovers and 4 pot conversions, my car has all of these, its gettin as boring as the anti s12 replies.

But it is true though, other than lowering springs, KYB's and the piper cam there isn't much available for the S12.

Supply and demand is the reason why. No one has created decent aftermarket parts due to their being little demand.

But to be honest I think most people who buy S12's buy it coz its a good value fast car, and generally keep to that form. I can't see many people buying expensive stuff off the shelves for them.

Alundra, other than retro fitting the S13 diff, any aftermarket diff designed to work with the S13 open diff shafts will work in the S12 case. You're probably looking at nearly ?1000 though.

i might be interested in tc rods and steering knuckles - what are you planning on doing to these? shortening them for more lock??
