Due to the amount of spam attacks (mainly advertising Viagra) on S12oc, we have altered the way in which new users can register to post on the forums.

Once signed up as they would have previously, they will then need to click on a link that is sent to their registered e-mail address.

Once this has been done, a moderator will then authorise the new member.

Once authorised, the new member will be able to post.

Yes, this slows down the registration process.
Yes, this creates more work for the moderators.

But...

Yes, this will stop spam posts, multiple registrations from the same people and it'll also prevent banned members from re-registering.

Oh and if you actually do need Viagra, no hard feelings
