crazy rev counter..
mines chucking shit fits occasionaly.. it bounces up & down at low revs, yet when climbs to more than 3k it go's smoothly. this is intermitten..
anyone any ideas on this phamtom menace .!  cheers.

check the connections on the coil which is a sure bet.

Revs not
in the loom just by the Coil, under the AFL area, there is a (brown I think) relay or diode(sorry not electrical minded) its kind of taped into the loom here. this becomes corroded & effects the rev counter. Look me ages to find this one when My rev counter was doing the same.
