i've read the threads on crystal lights & pukka's seem to be the only decent working ones!

i dont even know due to not checking if the standard s12 mk2 headlamps are seald beam or they have bulbs???? bad i know!

my lights are really bad! my old mini sealed beams are brighter & the silvia lamps have just been adjusted right at the MOT???? AS I ADJUSTED THEM LOL

if s12 kit fits then i'd go that route, what are you chaps using? i know some of you on here dont see it as apriority as your s12 is your 2nd/fun car where as mine is my daily

my side lights have given up the ghost due to corrosion of the bulb holder so i need to sort them asap

I have HID's on my Datsun. They're pretty easy to fit, and they're very cheap now days.

They do glare other drivers so not the best to have on a car thats not designed to take them, but oh well.

I have them as well. They're hugely better than standard.

I will be going the HID route though. I have HIDs on my Discovery and when you're driving along, everyone elses lights look like candles in comparison.

HID is the way to go, without any doubt. Also they're only around 35W each!

Default Do these fit?

I have just had a look at the HID's on the ebay site following your link. These lamp units are built into a set of pop up lamp covers. I'm sure some chap associated with the S12 club had built a set of these. I have a sneaky feeling he may be directly or indirectly involved with these on the ebay site, my thinking here is that these units would fit the silvia with minimal adjustment.

If you decide to go with these on the strength of this let me know how you get on.

Best regards,

john
