Default DET Thermostat

Quick q. My S12 never really gets as warm as I think it should (according to the factory gauge). Can I use an S13 DET thermostat ? Not as an upgrade or anything, just seem easier to find.

MkII Silvias have the same thermostat as the early S13's. That said you could by an uprated nismo one but they are expensive
