Default CA18DET swap, am i doing it right?!

Some of you may have seen, I got a CA18DET a couple of weeks back. I've managed to get it in and semi-wired up. According to pukkas swap thread you only need the 3 green relays, but I've used the relays and the fuses from the S13 loom I got, seemed easier to me.

I dug out the wiring diagram and simplified it...

my questions is did i need to use this?

all i needed to connect up was a line from the battery, and ignition from the connector that powered up the old engine loom. Only problem now is theres alot of wiring that i need to neaten up as you can see lol

I have still to connect up a few other things but just though I'd get some opinions, currently i managed to get it to run a little using engine start as I haven't done the fuel pump yet, still figuring that out.

I used the 3 Green relays and prised out the fuseable blocks from the block on top and removed the rest. Make sure you use the fuses as you don't want to waste your hard work buddy

Yea mate, made use of all the fuses, wherever the original loom was fused, there are too.

Ok so i can't seem to get the signal from the ECU to activate the fuel pump, the only way i can get it going is to manually ground it at the back so the pump turns on when ignition turns on but this isnt really good for safety reasons!?
I tried to trace the fuel pump grounding cable to the old engine loom connector ends but failed, can anyone fill me in?

Also realised that when i got the engine i must have overlooked the dropping resistor so I dont have one. However... I've ordered one and it should be here tuesday
