The arse section is fastened down by a metal prong type thing, one at either end of the seat, get a flat head screwdriver and lift the seat up as much as poss and you will see what i mean, just wedge the screwdriver in the middle of the prong and pop it up.

Once this is out the way you will see a bracket that holds the 2 sections of the back seat together in the middle. undo this then fold the seats down and then undo the four 10mm bolts that are on the back of the seats facing the boot once there folded down. Theres 2 bolts for each side.

Just pull the bench seat bit up about a foot in from each end.

Definatley unclip the prongs by sliding a flathead screw driver under the seat. it takes about 2 minutes once you know this

I dont have hands like Richardk but i still like to keep things stress free

Yeah I took my buddy's S12 V-6's backseats out awhile back. I thought it would take alot of weight off the V-6. But it only took off like 5 pounds or something. I know that the front seats weight a grip. I'm gunna keep my rear seats but replace the front w/a couple of buckets (@ least the driver side). Are you taking them off to lose weight?

i started taking the interior out to reconnect the rear hatch cos i bought a non rusty one, and so was driving around with half an interior for a while, but as im doing the track day at brands in december i thought id take all of the interior out, and also to clear out the bits of glass that i found there
