Anyone changed one,
is it an arse to do and any tips

Its quite wasy but sometimes when u change the bal joint the new one does not sit tight in the control arm so u have to weld it. And at a next change u hav to chane along with the control arm.

where is the play?if its inside the joint then fit a new one but ive had it before where the play is actually in the hole the balljoint sits in so i just fitted a secondhand arm i had cos it was easier

nah the play is in the balljoint itself as ive had a bar in there.
Just wondered if it was easy to get the ball out and in again with minimal tools and is the rollbar bolt going to snap on me

There is a cheap tool you can get that will try to push it out

i was lookin really to sell the front an rear kits +anougther 2 main bushes for £20 delivered the lot,but if no takers i may let you have the fronts for £10 delivered if wanted,yeah cheques arrived mate

The tool that Martin refers to is a "Massive fooking hammer"!!!!!, or metric and imperial adjuster.lol
