Default help please .gearbox ?

ca18et gearbox hard to get 2nd and sometimes 3rd.
does s13 box go straight on or shall i look for s12 box or have this one repaired.
sick of missing gears and lookin a plonker.

S13 is Not a straight fit. Its longer so you would have to have a shortened prop made and cut another hole in the trans tunnel as the stick sits further back.
Are you sure its not the clutch M/S or slave cyn or even the clutch ? Sometimes a oil change may help

its mainly just 2nd .just had clutch in april.ill give it oil change at weekend see if that cures it.its really sloppy anyway.do you think its worthwhile going down s13 route.can do tunnel work and make prop myself.(might have to have it balanced though.thanks.

just get an s12 box.

how much would box be and were from if i had to collect,thanks. found a couple for sale of ca18det 200sx .are these still different.?goin to change oil tomorrow see if that makes any difference.sorry for lack of knowledge but new to these cars.cheers

S12 "B" (early) and "C" (later) g/boxes;



Note the C is larger and has a different shift mechanisim.
