Default Hello !

Hi everyone,

I'm Simon, and a few months back I chopped in my 4.0 Jag XJR to go back to the land of Nissan, after previously owning an S14a.

This is where all that led me to, my 1989 Silvia Auto, the plan is to make her a manual with an SR20 & 6spd box, but you know how plans go. For now I am concentrating on getting her back up to a good standard-standard,

Regards,
Simon

Aha, thanks man.

At the moment, things I can think of:
Tidy / Replace corroded wiring
Replace Coil / Clean Coil Earth
Find another MAF / Reset Idle Mix
Replace Fuel Pump (Already done!)
Repair few little rusty bits
Replace drivers seat ( frame has snapped!)

Other than that, she is fairly tidy!

I am skint to the bone at the moment unfortunatly, although if its still around when I get paid I may well get in touch.

Car was around on ebay for a while, didn't sell because its an auto.

Originally from Glasgow, I bought it from Heckmondwike and dragged it down to Reading!

welcome, was following your thread on sxoc, wish mine looked that tidy!

regarding coil, just fitted an MSD Blaster SS to mine with Magnecor KV85 leads which made a HUGE difference!

I should say, std coil lead will fit on the SS but its not ideal (bit loose). Ran mine like that for a couple days while waiting for my leads and was fine - although the SS does come with a boot and crimp to mod existing leads.

If you get Magnecor leads made up, just tell em std CA18ET with MSD 8207 coil end - had mine done with 90 degree coil boot.
