S13 diff can be used, I posted earlier today on what to do to get it to fit.

The Kaaz ones etc will also work providing they are designed to work with non-VLSD S13 shafts.

r200 atb diff from Quaiffe shaun. It will do you fine. there about 525 quid. I may be able to get a bit of discount on it if u want one. Other than that buy an s15 lsd for about 300 quid tops. Martin told me about these and after i looked them up i was really impressed

I believe you need the s15 output flanges with it if you go for the s15 helical diff. Martin should know the details. Im not that interested in doing anything other than redline heavy duty oil to my diff.

I know that s13 open diff lsd are different than s13 VLSD diff when you order it from a manufacturer, but i haven't the money to spend in a brand r200 open diff to test on our s12.

As said on another thread, you can use an aftermarket designed for open style shafts, and this should work on stock shafts. If the diff is designed for LSD shafts then you'll have to make them up. But as far as I know Kaaz offer both types

thanks, i only saw previous post on lsd after i posted this? ok so i looked at my 12. and in the pic u gave the rear diff set up looks alot like the one in my car, so i think it may be uprated diff housing but was replaced by standard diff before it was sold to me. this car also came with coilovers, cage, front mount intercooler, porche 944 disks and calipers ect. lots of mods so i think this housing may have been upgraded to. is there any way of knowing? things to look for measurements ect, thanks.

Theres no such possible uprated diff housing. The only visible differences are the slight altered driver side shaft.
