Cool Sponsored

Okay you guys, like it says, I am not sponsored.

Not in the partial sponsorship that I have been getting over the past couple years, but full.

First, it's at SponsoredWhips.com. If you guys go there, let them know that I referred you: Colin Masterson.

Anyway, I put my application in a while ago. Dont even ask me when becasue I forgot when. All I know it was enough for me to forget that I even did it. Anyway, Saturday while I was in Seattle, a guy from SW called and left a message. When I got home, it was way too late. I decided to not worry about it till Monday. Monday I worked an early shift, so I decided to try after work. I get off work and go home and find ANOTHER message from the guy. Surprised me. I call him and leave a message. Then about an hour later he calls me. We talk about it and what it all entails.

The skinny of it:

They get tons of applications. These past several months they have gotten a lot from Scion owners. But, I am the only S12 to have ever sent in an application. And being a very unique one to add to it. They will pay all the entry fees to any shows as long as I have a decal or two of their business on my car. They arent huge either. They are about the same dimensions as teh Club-S12 decal. They create a resume for you that is tailored in the format big companies like. Then they go approach particular companies that match your profile to help you obtain sponsorship from many companies such as: HKS, GReddy, Seibon, VerticalDoors, etc.

I'll be looking at going to cars shows all over the West Coast. Just gotta fit it in with everything else. We'll see. He was excited just because of the nature of my car. It wasnt something he's seen. It's not the smae project he's seen nor can guess. Maybe if things work out, we'll actually see some serious attention to the S12.
