Hole in Volvo Intercooler ???????????
look at this picture of my T5 Intercooler:
http://links.pictures.aol.com/pic?id...5Fd3Ig=&size=l Should there be a hole here, when I flushed it out water was coming out of it. would this mean that boost pressure would also escape???????? |

if its leaking water, it will leak air mate.

When the Volvo intercoolers come they have a plate across there held on by rivets. So you could try riveting it up? Maybe with a blob of silicone under it first?

Would a little plate welded on cause any problems created by the heat?????????????

my old volvo intercooler had plastic end tanks which wouldnt be able to welded

Epoxy Resin should do it then?

dont see why not but not sure what pressure it could hold tho. would be worth a try

I think mine is metal, but not so sure now you brought it up will have to check and find an appropriate fix
