Default suspension options

i have read all info bout modding the suspension. TBH i would like to go down the route of buying a set of -40mm 350lb front and rear spring from south yorkshire springs company. my question is does anybody no what the best shocks to use and where to get them. would the kyb exel g be a good choice for front and rear shocks and would they handle the -40mm 350lb springs. i cant find a set of kyb exel g shocks on the net have spent 2 hrs and no joy

been busy tody just got off the phone to tony at valley springs his opinoin is that 350lb front and rear is too much and that he has never sold a pair. he advised 250lb front and 300lb rear will prob need a big favor from some 1 round the area where tony is as he doesnt take cards so if some 1 is feeling really nice i could pay them via paypal and they could drop money into him there will be a drink in it for some 1. so any way what you guys think bout 250lb front and 300lb rear on a -40mm drop ???

how much were the kybs from the motorfactors if you dont mind me asking, my local quoted me £84 EACH!!!!!!

i just got a price for a pair of kyb's for a datsun 810, kyb 365013

delivered from the USA total price $164 = £84 per pair delivered.

**EDIT** i have emailed them back with my interest in the price, but as the US seem to have better availability on parts than here i have asked if they can get hold of uprated and possible adjustable uprated front inserts. you never know till you ask.

they should be fine at that rating, i'am on 275 on coilovers on the front and they are very hard 250lbs is still stiffer than the avo springs as theres are 30% uprated from about 165lbs as std.

got email back, they dont have any other shocks that they can get hold of.

so kyb front inserts are available for £84 a set inc delivery from the USA.
