Default fed up with being shafted

guys. unfortunately my silvia will be up for sale for bits or what ever. I have completely had enough of people ripping me off. last year my T3 went on me which was my own fault. I bought another t3 turbo second hand for 200 quid off Andy at AMT engines in good faith last summer. I took it to turbo technics for a 360 bearing to be fitted. They have got back to me saying it is totally no good and not worth rebuilding with the bearing.

Now one of the two are not telling me the truth, but yet again i have lost out. both parties are claiming inocence. I am fed up big time.

Time after time after time i am being ripped off. Enough is enough

names will not be mentioned but:
cylinder head 50quid - put on car smoking like a train
steering rack number 1 £40 - put on car cracked and leaking
steering rack number 2 £120 - pissing out of the boots
gearbox - on car for a month and bearings go.
heated seat fitted - 6 months it burns out
engine number 2 - £150 big ends go after 4 months
alternator £50 quid - lasts 5 months

I could be here for ever making lists but the point is people must look at me and think easy target to rip off. When i go asking whats going to happen, no response. well sod it.

Adios!!!!!!!!!

What exactly is wrong with the turbo? Saying its not worth repairing doesnt tell much.

Ive had no end of trouble with alternators and bits and bobs. i spend more time fixing it and tweaking it than i do modifying it, but sometimes all you need is a few days rest from it and a then make a plan of action after that once the dismay has died down.

well i've never been ripped of at AMT, i saw the turbo and there was no cracks near the wastegate housing, there was minimal play in the shaft and that was side to side, then again i'am no turbo expert, i'am just the man stuck in the middle yet again, i don't make a habit of rippin people off, gripo, i fitted you that plenum, fabricated the pipe work to fit it, stella noticed sids tune shop had put ya rad pipes on the wrong way around, i sorted that and bled the system, your fan was blowing the wrong way, i sorted you that,i orderd and fetched your inlet gasket from nissan,i worked for 7 hours with a stinking hangover in the red hot sun, for what i never charged you anything, andy has done mapping for me, no charge, tappets, no charge, i will know in future no to help anyone, i've done endless running about in the car for people with no offer of a drink at the end of it

wo wo wo hang on! my beef is definitely not with you shaun so calm down. I know you did all that for me and not once have i said anything against you. At the end of the day i am 200 quid down. I am not saying your man has ripped me off but then again its either a nackered unit or turbo technics are ripping me off. Its either one or the other. Simple as that.

I did ask for the number last night so i could get back to turbo technics. but i didnt get it. I spent 3 hours trawling through the net trying to find his number but its not listed.

I did speak to Andy in the end today but he flatly refused that the turbo was shagged so maybe it wasnt. Maybe turbo technics are shafting me. Its all maybe and at the end of the day once again i have lost out.

I will probably ask for the turbo back in bits and flog the lot. I have simply had enough. PEOPLE ARE SELFISH SHITES!!!!

Just spoke to Andy at AMT engines. Had a long chat and by the sounds of things turbo technics are spinning me a yarn. I thought that it was odd because Andy has such a good reputation. Will speak to turbotechnics Tuesday as i have to go to yet another funeral monday. I am tired.

sounds like your having a bad week mate.
in my opinion the things wrong with the car are not expansive things...
well... as such...

things go wrong, things like seals etc cannot be garunteed on old cars.

is it just the turbo thats gone wrong?
if so cant you rebuild it?
when you say its knackered what is wrong with it?

Try a different turbo rebuilders. Or send it back to AMT for inspection
