No Sticker
I can't find a sticker on it at all. Can I tell if I remove the end casing?

Oil Cooler
It does have an oil cooler with it so this would indicate it is a vlsd????? why would you need an oil cooler on a non lsd?

Try turning the shafts in opposite directions.
An LSD is almost impossible to turn in opposite directions.

Took apart
Just took the end casing off, can turn shafts in opposite direction quite easily but why would it have an oil cooler on it and does an lsd look any different inside to a non lsd??

Its an early one
Its off a 1989 G 180SX S13 so one of the very first ones. Any numbers anywhere to give me a clue as I am going no further if it isn't suitable.

That's an open diff, if it looks like that you don't have an LSD.

Looks like that
It looks exactly like the one in the photo, so I've just paid £80 and a round trip of 150 miles for no reason. Bugger
