Exclamation power fig's

im wondering, i have a good decent size fm intercooler (from a pug desiel)
good induction filter
good size back box (only)
standard turbo, running around 13psi..

im only getting 130-5'sih bhp at the wheels, which i equate to around 165-170 at fly. (when i ran standard boost i got 100 atw, which i equate to 135bhp - standard)..!

is this right, ..

i notice kennyboy gets 212 atw on standard internals.. hows this achieved..

as people will be aware, im a seasoned S12 owner, so this is for feed back purposes & imput from other members..

try setting your timing to 17deg btdc. timing being out can dramatical drop bhp. Make sure you have good plugs and the right gap 3/5 BHP
ken has a full reprogrammed ECU custom made by chipwizards he also has a t3 turbo and custom exhaust manifold

Default Power figs

Here a spec list for you to have a look at ,think its the most recent one am thinking about a change of ecu as Wayne now supplies Nira ecu's but its would work out to be very expensive and the whole idea of fun tunig i reckon is to do it on a budget , thats my thoughts anyway( where possible)..lol

Stll going strong though and have just had the turbo rebuilt slightly different core as i dont use water cooling at all on the turbo, biggest power gains are changing the ecu and the trubo manifold, i also rebuilt the bottom end before aiming for the power figs just to keep it right.

Spec :-
Standard block and head,
Home made tubluar top mount ex manifold, T3 from a saab 9000turb
Single box exhaust one of exhaust in stainless , tiger back box
Volvo intercooler from a 960 and Bailey Twin piston dump valve.
Home made intercooler hard pipe kit .Micalor clamped throughout.
Stainless air filter concealed air box with forced air feed pipes
Fse fuel regulator and Walbro fuel pump. under bonnet fuel gauge
Apexi boost controller and seperate scramble boost
Bosch e.c.u. with Fiat punto map sensor
Rover 820 turbo injectors.( 480cc i think )
Wide band Air fuel ratio meter.
Sierra Cosworth Ngk Plugs
Standard ignition coil and still has a distributor( just to get the spark around).

Hope i have'nt missed anything, feel free to ask if you need any info.

Runs just over a bar of boost for the 212bhp at the wheels , but peaks at 1.3 on scramble which i reckon will see a tad more then that, Goes well woth no lsd
