Default Brakes???

Desperately need some new front discs as the grooved SE Nissan ones i have are wrecked and badly warped. I'm struggling to find standard discs for the S12 so need some ideas.

I've got S13 complete front struts which aren't on at the moment, not sure if they are facelift or not. Will S13 discs go on S12 hubs or should i swap to S13 front struts etc to explore new brake possibilities?

Also if the S13 strut setup i've got is prefacelift (smaller discs) can i put the larger 280mm discs on or are the calipers different on the facelift?

Thanks in advance

s12 and 13 are totally different so won't cross over. Standard S13 struts are too wide for the s12 tower which is why coilovers are needed.

cheers for the replies, found some standard discs quite cheap through work so go them now. Can i put S14 calipers with the s12 discs? (If i get the right caliper mount?)

Anyone know if I can use S14 calipers? Looks like the disc is plenty big enough, just not sure if the caliper would bolt on or would i need a different caliper mount?

steve I did it on an old S12 I had about 3/4 years ago. You need some custom lines made up and as the S12 discs are thinner, you will need to make up some spacers for the backs of the pads

thought that might be the case. So the S14 calipers bolt straight on to the s12 setup?

Thanks for the info!

Could i just not let the pads run down too much so the pistons don't pop out?
